AN INDEPENDENT ACCURACY INITIATIVEACCURACY, ONE SOURCE AT A TIME.
The record deserves better

The internet never forgets. It also never updates corrects itself.

Information ages. Statistics expire, laws change, links die, and yesterday's facts keep circulating as today's. We find published content the world has outgrown, verify what changed against documented sources, and work with publishers to set the record straight. One source at a time, toward an internet that is as truthful and honest as it can be.

The problem

Most of the web is unmaintained. Pages written years ago still rank, still get cited, and still spread information that has quietly stopped being true.

The mission

Keep the internet the most truthful and honest place it can be, by reducing the outdated and incorrect information in circulation: not by argument, but by verification and correction at the source.

The method

Every correction is grounded in documented sources, primary wherever they exist, with the sourcing stated on every entry. No opinions, no disputes of judgment.

How a correction happens

PROCESS / 3 STEPS
01

Identify

We look for published claims that time has overtaken: superseded statistics, changed regulations, discontinued products and services, dead sources.

02

Verify

A claim is only flagged when the evidence is unambiguous. Each finding is checked against the strongest available sources and documented with citations.

03

Correct

We publish the documented correction and notify publishers whose pages carry the outdated claim, so the record can be fixed where it lives.
